Why does macOS ask?
Flufs is new and runs right on your Mac, downloaded straight from us rather than the App Store. macOS double-checks apps like that the first time you open them. We're completing Apple notarisation, which removes this step. Until then it takes ten seconds, once.
What Flufs asks for on Mac, and why.
Nothing is required to start. Bots work in their own browser with zero permissions. Grant more only when a job needs your Mac, and revoke any of it in System Settings.
AccessibilityOptional
Lets a bot click and type in your apps during a Mac session you approved. Without it, bots still work in their own browser.
Screen RecordingOptional
Lets a bot see the app it's working in, and powers the live view so you can watch every step. Nothing is recorded or uploaded.
NotificationsRecommended
So approvals and questions reach you, with Approve and Reply right in the notification.
MicrophoneOnly for voice notes
Asked the first time you record a voice note to a bot. Never used in the background.
AutomationPer app, when needed
macOS asks before a bot controls a specific app such as Mail or Finder. You decide app by app.
Login itemRecommended
Keeps your bots running when the window is closed, so routines fire on time. Turn it off in Settings any time.
Using your Mac always starts with your OK. Take over by touching the mouse, or press ⌃⌥⌘. to stop every bot at once.
